GAME ROOM

For this project we transformed the existing "man cave" into a fun, playful, and inviting game room. The room needed to accommodate a large number of guests for games and parties and be quickly and easily transformable for use with a ping-pong table. By utilizing the existing architectural aspects of the interior and making only cosmetic, not structural changes, we were able to change the energy and purpose of the room in a dramatic way without making major budgetary expenditures. Custom upholstery, paint, and wallpaper behind the bar give the room a one of a kind feel. Heavy influence of mid century modern furniture and housewares gives this space an updated take on the old rec room. This isn't your grandmother's basement hangout!
